Spring around the corner!

I think spring is around the corner!  We’ve had five nice days of sun!  The temperature wasn’t bad, either!  I took a few days off and did probably the last of my ice fishing I’ll do for the year.  Time to get the boat ready!  Put away the snowmobile!

Boy it was nasty today!  It was really warm, but it really snowed!  The snow came down and it was really hard to shovel and push with a plow.  Two or three of my friends told me that they broke their trucks trying to push it!  Of course, I forgot to tell you, some of them were driving Fords!  The Chevies never break down!  Ha Ha!

Well, I spent most of the weekend playing video games!  Everbody else was busy doing something else, so I stayed home and dug out some of my best video games.  I was quite rusty at first, but after a while it all comes back to you.  I had fun.  Before I knew it, it was Sunday night and time to go to bed!

Sunny one day, snow the next!  An inch of snow here, an inch of snow there.  That’s how it’s been all week!  Seems like it’s been pretty dark; you get up and go to work in the dark, and you come home in the dark.  Day after day.  I’ll be glad when spring gets here!

Loader came today!

The loader came this morning; it spent three hours moving snow in the dooryard!  When the driveway is empty, it will hold six cars, before the loader came I could barely get two cars in the dooryard!  The snow is piled up to 10 feet high in some places, away from the driveway; it looks like you could drive a tractor trailer around in there!  Although I’m beginning to wonder if it will ever go away before June!

Help! I need a loader!

Now this is just crazy!  We just got another 6″ of snow!  The snow slid off the roof and it buried the front windows!  I was very glad that I put a metal roof on the house this year!  But now I’m beginning to wonder - I had to go out and literally shovel the snow away from the windows as it had pushed through the screen and was pushing against the inside window!  It took about an hour, I will solve this problem shortly!
