I don’t enjoy grocery shopping. I try to get out of it as much as possible, but my honey came down with a bad sinus infection and wanted to stay home and sleep. So she asked me to do the shopping. She told me that it is best to be in and out of the store before 10am, to avoid the crowds. That means leaving the house at 8am to get it done. Well, I didn’t see the harm in waiting until I felt like going, so I left the house at 9:30am. When I got to the store I was shocked to see exactly how crowded the place was! I could not even find a parking spot in the parking lot! So I turned around and went home empty handed. I had to promise to go back tomorrow morning. This time I’ll follow her advice and go early in the morning!
It seems that everywhere I go, people want to talk politics with me. I try to avoid the subject because people have such strong feelings about the subject; if I don’t agree with who they are voting for they are likely to get angry. I’ll be really glad when the elections are over and we can be talking about something else!
This has been a mild season for my allergies. I was quite surprised, actually, because so many people around me have been having a heck of a time! The killing frost should happen in the next couple of days so most of the ragweed and goldenrod allergies should calm down pretty quickly.
Well, I spent most of the weekend playing video games! Everbody else was busy doing something else, so I stayed home and dug out some of my best video games. I was quite rusty at first, but after a while it all comes back to you. I had fun. Before I knew it, it was Sunday night and time to go to bed!
